Vadim
Vadym "Tzar" Boyko: Vadym was working as a foreman in Belarus when he caught news of the war. He immediately returned to Ukraine and went to a recruitment station to sign up for the fight. He deployed to the East with the 90th Separate Air Battalion, engaging his first battle in Pisky as an unofficial commander after his lieutenant was killed and the remaining official military leaders abandoned the area. From Pisky, Vadym went on to defend the Donetsk Airport until they were ordered to retreat under the first ceasefire agreements.
