Donbas-farmers-29
September 8, 2021 - Hranitne, Ukraine: Vitaley, a farmer who has worked the fields in Hranitne for his entire life, talks about the impact of the war during a break from plowing a wheat field on farmland that was subject to a recent artillery shelling by Russian insurgents. "The impact was disastrous. Everyone was working here. I was working as a master in a school, teaching tractor workers. Everything went upside down. I was working in a school, had to run from the bombing. The school is currently the Army's headquarters. In 2014 they abandoned the fields and started to work on them again in 2017. Everyone's scared. There are new holes on this field."
